FAQ
Q: How much does it cost to adopt?
A: An adoption fee of GBP270 is required to adopt. This will increase if transport is also required. The adoption fee covers vaccinations, castration, passport, extensive blood tests and nails and teeth clean.
Q: Can I foster before committing to an adoption?
A: Of course, we would never expect someone to agree to adopt without some sort of trial.
Q: Are the dogs toilet trained?
A: This is nearly impossible for us to determine but they may not be. Many of the dogs have lived on the street or have been neglected however we are here to offer guidance on how to help your new dog.
Q: I have brought my dog home but they are not eating.
A: It is very common for them not to eat when they arrive. They are confused and unsure of their new surroundings. It may be a few days before they relax. In the next few weeks you will see their personality come through as they start to let their guard down and it will be a few months before they are in a regular routine and totally comfortable. However, it still takes longer to train a puppy so please consider saving an adult dog.
